# Set Up Change Risk Prediction for IT Services

Set up the Change Risk Score Prediction model to forecast the probability of change request failures. Use the resulting scores to replace subjective assessments with data-informed processes that improve IT stability.

### Required Editions

## Install the Change Risk Prediction App

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter templates, and select **Templates** under **Apps** | **Intelligent Apps**.
2. In the list of available templates, select the dropdown for Change Risk Prediction, and then select **Create App**.
3. In the Data Space Name, select the default data space for the application installation, and click **Next**.
4. In the Training Duration field, enter the number of days of historical data to use for model training (default is 365 days), and click **Next**.
5. In the Select Features page, review and select the textual, numerical, and categorical variables relevant to your organization's data, then click **Next**.
6. In the Enter App Details page, provide an App Name, Description, and Log Level.
7. Click **Create** to begin the installation process.
    
    The App Install History page appears. The installation includes automated tasks for data transformation, model training, and scoring. Initial change risk scores are saved to the CRRiskScoreDMO.

## Create an AI Accelerator Use Case

To display change risk predictions on a change record page, you must configure an AI Accelerator Card.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter AI Accelerator, and select **AI Accelerator**.
2. Click **New Use Case**.
3. In the use case name box, enter a unique name, such as Change Risk Prediction, and then select **Save**.
4. Click **Edit** for the new use case to configure its definition.
5. To display predicted scores in the UI, link the prediction in the CRRiskScoreDMO to the Change DMO.
6. In Use Case Model, select **Add Model** and add this information:

7. Save your changes.

## Add the AI Accelerator Card to the Change Request Page

Configure the AI Accelerator component on the Change Request page layout to provide IT teams with real-time major change risk predictions and intelligent insights.

1. From the App Launcher, find and select **Change Requests**.
2. From the Change Requests page, open an change request record.
3. Click the **Setup** and select **Edit Page**.
4. In the Lightning App Builder, drag and drop the AI Accelerator Card component onto the page layout.
5. Select the component and configure its properties:
    
    - Title: Enter Change Request Risk Score.
    - Use Case Definition: Select the change request risk prediction use case created earlier.
    - Threshold Score: Enter the minimum score required for the prediction to appear. (for example, Set a threshold score, such as **80**, to identify high-risk change requests. If a change request receives a score above this threshold, it is flagged as a high probability for failure).
6. Save your changes and then **Activate** the page.
    
    The AI Accelerator card now appears on the record page, displaying change risk predictions for change requests. Verify the card appears on an active change request record.
