1. From the App Launcher, find and select **CMDB and Service Graph**.
2. In the navigation menu, scroll to **Administration** and expand **CMDB**.
3. Select **CI and Asset Sync Settings**.
4. Select **Field Synchronization** tab.
5. Select **Add Field Mapping**.
6. Select an **Asset Field**.
7. Select a **CI Field**.
8. Select a **Source of Truth**.

The source of truth determines which system is authoritative and overwrites values when discrepancies occur.
9. Map specific **Source Field Values** to **Target Field Values**.

    For example:

    - Map a CI value of **Ordered** to an Asset value of **On Order**.
    - Map multiple CI values (**In Build**, **In Test**, and **Integration**) to a single Asset value like **Pending Install**.
10. Save your changes.
