# Agentforce IT Service AI Usage and Metering

Determine whether Agentforce IT Service AI actions and MuleSoft for flow integrations consume credits. Metering depends on the product, assigned permissions, execution context, and whether an AI action is predefined, cloned, or custom.

    Assign the unmetered usage permission set licenses that matches a user’s product and role so that eligible Agentforce IT Service AI actions or MuleSoft for flow integrations don’t consume the applicable credits.

    Agentforce IT Service AI actions consume credits based on assigned permissions, execution context, and action type. Eligible actions running in a user context are unmetered through assigned permission set licenses. Actions running in a system context, including proactive assistant actions, are non-billable and automatically excluded from metering.

    Determine whether an IT service flow integration consumes MuleSoft automation credits by checking the flow type and the applicable user’s unmetered usage license. All MuleSoft for flow connectors are eligible, so you don’t need to select connectors from an allowlist.
