# Set Up the HR Service Solution

Use Salesforce Go to quickly set up the HR Service solution, which includes installing metadata, setting up accounts, configuring the self-service portal, and assigning permissions. This Jumpstart solution provides ready-to-use configurations for HR Service features.

### Required Editions

1. Select **Salesforce Go** from the gear menu.
2. On the Salesforce Go page, go to the **Initial Setup** tab.
3. Under HR Service Solution, select **Set Up**.
4. On the HR Service Solution page, select **Get Started**.
5. Make sure that you have Knowledge and Case Management turned on.
6. Click **Install**.
7. At the Install HR Service Solution step, choose whether to include sample data and then click **Next**.
8. Review the disclaimer and click **Confirm**.
9. Use **Take the Next Steps** to further configure your HR Service features.
