What’s New in Click Field Service Edge for Fuji MR21

Learn about the new features and enhancements that are part of the Service Edge Fuji MR21 release.

Release Highlights

The Fuji MR21 release focuses on improvements in product trust and providing the highest level of security. As announced recently, Salesforce is retiring Click Field Service Edge. The official end-of-life date is December 31, 2026.

In the spotlight for this release is FSE’s Data Exporter Tool with a few enhancements when loading data objects with multivalue data types, and several cosmetic UI changes to increase clarity and transparency on data export requests. The Data Exporter Tool allows customers to accelerate their transition to Salesforce Field Service (SFS) by exporting FSE data objects into a CSV file format.

Security and Trust

  • Adoption: Decommission of Twilio text messaging services

Twilio’s text messaging services will be decommissioned from FSE with the deployment of MR21, on Sandbox tenants first and later with the complete rollout to Production. Therefore, to increase service stability and availability, customers should have finished their transition from Twilio’s text messaging services to Google Authenticator by April 26, 2025.

  • Windows 10 end-of-support

Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 will reach end of support on October 14, 2025. Field Service Edge is already certified with Windows 11 and we recommend starting an internal discussion about this transition.

Platform

  • Data Exporter Tool: Support for the multivalue data type property

The Data Exporter tool now supports data objects with the multivalue data type property by creating a new CSV file for each multivalue field occurrence. This new addition of metadata establishes a many-to-many relationship between a source object to a target object, and allows each record to be linked to multiple records of another object (to be exported separately). The user is required to specify the need for such metadata as part of the export preference stage.

  • Deprecation of components: Setup tool

The Setup tool will be decommissioned from FSE starting with the upcoming release of MR22, planned for September 2025. Customers that use the Data Center as part of the Setup tool to enable the import of calendar data in CSV format will transition to use an alternative interface.
