Note Starting with Spring ’12, the Self-Service portal isn’t available for new Salesforce orgs. Existing orgs continue to have access to the Self-Service portal.

Setting up your Self-Service portal is simple. Choose from two setup options:

- Jump Start—Gets you up and running quickly; see [Self-Service Jump Start](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=service.customize_selfservicejumpstart.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Get your Self-Service portal running quickly using the Jump Start button. It automates the setup process by choosing some default settings for you.").
- Self-Service Setup—Complete setup that allows you more customization.

    The setup consists of:

    - [Enable Self-Service Features and Settings](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=service.customize_selfserviceenable.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Customize Self-Service by enabling features and settings.")
