# Mask Number in Outbound Calls

Prevent your organization's phone number from being displayed to customers on outbound calls. When you mask the number, call recipients see Private or Anonymous instead of your company's number. Use this to meet privacy regulations and protect the identity of service reps in sensitive roles, such as HR, Legal, or Debt Collections.

When you turn on number masking, all outbound calls from your org won’t display the number.

1. From Setup, use Quick Find to go to **Communication Channels**.
2. In the Numbers tab, search for the 10-digit long code or toll-free number you want to mask.
3. Click the number to open its details.
4. From Outbound Call Settings, turn on **Mask Outbound Number**.
