1. From Setup, use Quick Find to open **Trunks**.
2. Click **New Trunk**.
3. Select the trunk type as **Custom**.
4. Under trunk details enter a name for your trunk.
5. For Salesforce Media Region, select a region closest to your carrier.
6. By default, the Protocol is set to Transport Layer Security (TLS) .
7. For **SIP ACL IP Address**, enter the IP addresses or Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) ranges that your carrier uses to send SIP traffic. Separate multiple entries with commas (for example, 192.168.1.2, 192.168.1.3/24).
8. In the Inbound section, the SIP address is set to sip.salesforce.com. This is the address your carrier must route your inbound calls to. Make a note of this address.
9. Optionally, if you want Salesforce to verify your carrier's identity on inbound calls, turn on Authentication and enter a username and password.
10. In the Outbound section, for **SIP Termination**, add one or more endpoints where Salesforce routes outbound calls. Enter a host (Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) or IP address of your carrier's SIP endpoint) and a port (example, 5060 or 5061). To add more termination endpoints, click ![Icon to add more termination endpoints.](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-service-support_channels-264-0-0-production-enus/f3c4b3d2-ff86-4f7c-9fe2-3d8b23d35109/support_channels/images/agentforce_contact_center/afcc_add_number_icon.png).
11. Optionally, under Custom Headers, add key-value pairs to include in outbound SIP messages. Enter a key (example, X-Client-ID) and a value (for example, CID-99283). To add more headers, click ![Icon to add more key value pairs.](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-service-support_channels-264-0-0-production-enus/f3c4b3d2-ff86-4f7c-9fe2-3d8b23d35109/support_channels/images/agentforce_contact_center/afcc_add_number_icon.png).
12. If your carrier requires Salesforce to authenticate for outbound calls, turn on digest authentication and enter the username and password.
13. Click **Submit**.
