Review these important considerations before you begin.

- This functionality is available only in Spiff environments that use Hyperforce.
- Users that you add from the Admin menu can't be referenced in calculated fields or data filters in Designer. To reference users in calculated fields or data filters, add them from the Data Sources tab instead. See [Import Users in Salesforce Spiff Manually](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.spiff_users_add_manual_import.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Admins can manually import users in Salesforce Spiff by downloading, modifying, and uploading a template .csv file. You can also add other admins.").

1. From the Admin menu, select **Users**.
2. In the toolbar, click **Edit** (1) and then click **Add User** (2).

![The Users page in the Spiff Admin menu, showing the Edit and Add User buttons](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sales-sales_performance_management-264-0-0-production-enus/b1f2feb4-26b8-444f-97f7-be2349869d93/sales_performance_management/images/spiff/spiff_user_add.png)
3. Enter a name and email address, select a role, and click **Create**.

Creating a user adds an entry in the System Activity log.
