# Review Submitted Change Sets in Salesforce Spiff

Review submitted changes to the parent environment and test, reject, or approve the change set for deployment.

              <p>A Spiff <a href="https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.spiff_users_roles_and_permissions.htm&amp;release=264.0.0&amp;type=5" title="Give users the appropriate level of access so they can be successful in Salesforce Spiff, and enforce the principle of least privilege. Assign a default role to each user, or create custom roles with access to specific Spiff functionality.">user role</a> with these permissions turned on.</p>

1. In the parent environment, go to Admin and select **Settings**.
2. Under Environments, select **Inbound Change Sets**.
3. Filter the list of change sets by **Submitted Date** or by **Deploy Status**.
4. In the Name column, click the change set to review the list of changes.
5. To review field-level changes, click an arrow in the first column.
6. To test the changes, click **Validate**.
    
    After validating, you can reject or approve the changes.
7. To reject the submitted changes, click **Reject Changes**.
    
    You can reject change sets defined with any non-deployed status.
8. To approve the submitted changes, click **Approve Changes**.
    
    The change set is now ready to deploy. You can’t reject a change set after you’ve approved it.
9. To view the full workflow history for the change set, click the **History** tab.
