# Assign Users to a Plan in Salesforce Spiff

Help drive sales performance and business growth when you identify which sales reps and managers are covered under the commission plan.

### Required Editions

Assign a default role to each user, or create custom roles with access to specific Spiff functionality.">user role</a> with these permissions turned on.</p>

1. In Designer, click **Plan Assignments** at the bottom of the plan, and then click **Assign Users**. Or select a plan from the Plans tab and click **Assign Users**.
2. Select the users you want to add to the plan.
3. Click **Assign Users**.
