Tip If users already have permission through a permission set or profile, skip these steps.

1. Create a permission set with the API Name Commission\_Fields\_Access and that uses the Salesforce license type.

    See [Create Permission Sets](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.perm_sets_create.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
2. After you save the permission set, go to the permission set details and click **Object Settings**.
3. Search or browse for the Quote object, click **Edit**, turn on Read Access for these fields, and save your changes.

![Settings for the Quote object on a permission set](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sales-sales_performance_management-264-0-0-production-enus/b1f2feb4-26b8-444f-97f7-be2349869d93/sales_performance_management/images/spiff/spiff_estimator_quotes_object_settings.png)

    - All the custom commission estimation fields you added to the Quote object
    - The standard fields Id, Name, OwnerId, LastModifiedById, LastModifiedDate, SystemModstamp, LastReferencedDate, LastViewedDate, CreatedById, CreatedDate, and CurrencyIsoCode
4. Repeat the previous step for the Quote Line, Product, and Product Opportunity objects.
5. Assign the permission set to all users who make callouts to Spiff for commission estimation.

    See [Manage Permission Set Assignments](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.perm_sets_manage_assignments.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
