Important Before you begin, complete the general Spiff Commission Estimator setup steps. See [Set Up the Salesforce Spiff Commission Estimator](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.spiff_estimator_setup.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "To get started with the Salesforce Spiff Commission Estimator for quotes or opportunities, install the managed package and assign permissions. Additional setup steps are required depending on whether you're configuring the estimator for quotes or opportunities.").

1. **[Create a Visualforce Page for the Salesforce Spiff Commission Estimator](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.spiff_estimator_quote_visualforce.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
To show the Salesforce Spiff Commission Estimator in the Quote Line editor, create a Visualforce page.
2. **[Add Custom Actions for the Salesforce Spiff Commission Estimator](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.spiff_estimator_quote_custom_actions.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Add a picklist value, Estimate Commission, in the Custom Action object so reps can trigger the Salesforce Spiff Commission Estimator. Then, create a custom action for adding the Salesforce Spiff commission estimation button to the Spiff\_Commission\_Page Visualforce page.
3. **[Add a Custom Action Condition for the Salesforce Spiff Commission Estimator](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.spiff_estimator_quote_custom_action_condition.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Create a custom action condition so that only authorized users can access the Salesforce Spiff Commission Estimator for quotes. First, create a custom field on the Quote object that specifies which user profiles can use the estimator. Then, add a picklist value for the custom field to the Custom Action Condition object and create the custom action condition.
4. **[Turn Off the Quick Save Reminder in the Salesforce Spiff Commission Estimator for Quotes](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.spiff_estimator_quote_quick_save.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
By default, the Salesforce Spiff Commission Estimator shows an alert message in the Quote Line Edtior when a sales rep clicks the Estimate Commission button. The message reminds them to click Quick Save before making a server call. You can turn off this message.
