# Filter Opportunities in the Salesforce Spiff Commission Estimator for Quotes

By default, the Salesforce Spiff Commission Estimator returns all opportunities except Closed Won Closed Lost opportunities. Customize the estimator to filter opportunities by other status values.

### Required Editions

1. Log in to Salesforce as an admin with the Spiff Commission Admin permission set.
2. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Custom Settings, and then select **Custom Settings**.
3. For Commission App Settings, click **Manage**.
4. Click **Edit**.
5. For Restrict Commission Fetch on Opportunity, enter the comma-separated opportunity stages that you want to exclude from the Spiff Commission Estimator return data.
    
    The default values are Closed Won and Closed Lost.
6. Save your changes.
