Tip A connector can sync multiple objects, some with hundreds of fields not needed for commission logic or showing information. Instead of filling the system with too much data, sync only the fields needed for calculation or display.

- **[Recommended Data Mapping Prerequisite for Salesforce Spiff](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.spiff_data_mapping.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Before you import data from Salesforce or a third-party data source into Salesforce Spiff, create a data mapping spreadsheet that lists all objects and fields that you plan to sync. Make sure that you collaborate with all required stakeholders and receive approval for your design before you set up the connectors and sync data.
- **[Salesforce Connectors in Salesforce Spiff](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.spiff_connector_salesforce.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Sync data from Salesforce objects and fields for use within Salesforce Spiff. Set up connectors for up to five Salesforce orgs, sync data, and manage users between Salesforce and Spiff.
- **[Third-Party Data Integration in Salesforce Spiff with Workato Recipes](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.spiff_workato.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
All third-party data integrations in Salesforce Spiff, other than the default Spiff import option and default Salesforce connector, are managed through Workato, an iPaaS tool. With Workato, you can export, transform, and load data from one system to another.
- **[Manage Connector Field Syncing in Salesforce Spiff Designer](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.spiff_connector_designer.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Sync or unsync objects and their fields from your data source in Salesforce Spiff Designer.
- **[Integrate Slack with Salesforce Spiff](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.spiff_connector_slack.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
To let Salesforce Spiff users receive notifications for comments and approvals in their flow of work, set up an integration with Slack.
- **[Embed Salesforce Spiff in a Salesforce Page](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.spiff_embed.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Help sales reps track progress toward commission goals directly where they manage deals. Embed Salesforce Spiff in a Visualforce page `iframe` so that your Spiff and Salesforce users can more easily focus on their flow of work without changing browser tabs.
