# Exclude Events from Salesforce Maps Schedule

To keep private or all-day events out of Maps Schedule, add an option to the Activity object to exclude an event.

### Required Editions

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Object Manager, and then select **Object Manager**.
2. Open the Activity object and create a Checkbox field (for example, name it Exclude from Maps Schedule).
3. In Salesforce Maps, open **Routes & Schedule** settings, and set the exclusion field to the checkbox field that you created.
4. Save. Now, whenever an event has that checkbox selected, Maps Schedule excludes it. Users or automation select the checkbox on the events to hide from Maps Schedule.
