# Edit a Salesforce Maps Layer

Change a layer's name, description, filters, style, or data source after you create it.

### Required Editions

1. In Salesforce Maps, click **Layers**, and then find the layer (or open it from **Saved**).
2. Hover over the layer's menu, and then click **Edit**.
3. Make your changes.
4. Save.
