# Set the Default Basemap in Salesforce Maps

Control which map style users see by default when they open Maps.

### Required Editions

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Installed Packages, and then select **Installed Packages**.
2. Find the Salesforce Maps package, and then click **Configure**.
3. In **Permission Groups**, select the group that you want to configure, and click **Edit**.
4. Under General settings, set the **Default Basemap**.
5. Save.
