# Salesforce Spiff Release Notes for October 11, 2024

Manage statements and third-party data connections in Salesforce Spiff more efficiently.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: both Salesforce Classic (not available in all orgs) and Lightning Experience</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Enterprise</strong>, <strong>Unlimited</strong>, and <strong>Developer</strong> Editions</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available for an additional cost in: <strong>Professional</strong> Edition with Web Services API Enabled</td></tr></tbody></table>

## Enjoy Improved Calculation Performance with Frozen Statements by Default

Spiff now freezes period statements up to six months in the past by default. You can unfreeze statements and customize the freeze periods, up to six months in the past, in Company Settings.

## Simplify Third-Party Data Connection Setup with Workato

Configure third-party data connectors with fewer clicks and without leaving Spiff. Specify webhook connector objects and mappings, and manage the end-to-end data import workflow, with an embedded Workato window.

**How:** The Connector Settings menu includes a new tab for managing connectors with Workato. You no longer log in to Workato directly in a separate browser tab.

See [Third-Party Data Integration in Salesforce Spiff with Workato Recipes](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.spiff_workato.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "All third-party data integrations in Salesforce Spiff, other than the default Spiff import option and default Salesforce connector, are managed through Workato, an iPaaS tool. With Workato, you can export, transform, and load data from one system to another.").
