# Considerations for Adding Images to Quote Templates

Before you add images to quote templates, consider a few key points.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Performance</strong> and <strong>Developer</strong> Editions</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">In Sales, also available in: <strong>Professional</strong>, <strong>Enterprise</strong>, and <strong>Unlimited</strong> Editions</td></tr></tbody></table>

- You can store images for uploading in your file system or in Salesforce CRM Content.
- If you store images on the Documents tab or the Static Resources page, you get a web address that you can use to insert the image.
- If you insert an image that’s too large, it’s cropped when users create quote PDFs from the template. To prevent cropping, click **Save and Preview** after you insert an image, and then resize the image as needed.
- To insert an image from a _public_ web address outside Salesforce (such as your company’s website), contact Salesforce and ask to have the public URL allowlisted for your Salesforce org.
