# Create a Quote PDF by Selecting a Template

Select from the available templates to create a PDF.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Performance</strong> and <strong>Developer</strong> Editions</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">In Sales, also available in: <strong>Professional</strong>, <strong>Enterprise</strong>, and <strong>Unlimited</strong> Editions</td></tr></tbody></table>

1. Choose one of these options.
    - If you’re using Lightning Experience, click **Create PDF**, and then choose a template from the dropdown list.
    - If you’re using Salesforce Classic, click the **Create PDF** dropdown list, and then select a template from the Recent Templates list, or click Choose Template and search for the template that you want to use.
2. Generate a preview by clicking **Create PDF**.
3. Save the PDF to the Quote PDFs related list by clicking **Save to Quote**. The PDF name is the quote name plus a version number, such as AcmeQuote\_V1.
