## Turn On Agentforce Pipeline Management

Turn on the features required to use Agentforce Pipeline Management.

Before you begin, set up [Einstein Generative AI](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.generative_ai_enable.htm&type=5&language=en_US) and enable [Agentforce](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?language=en_US&id=ai.agent_setup_enable.htm&type=5).

1. From the gear icon, select **Salesforce Go**.
2. On the Salesforce Go Home page, search for and select **Agentforce for Sales**.
3. Turn on Agentforce.
4. Turn on Pipeline Management.

When you turn on Pipeline Management, you're assigned the Sales Management User permission set group. The Sales agent is also created and assigned the Sales Management Agent User permission set group.

Now that Pipeline Management is on, you can get field update suggestions based on your configured data sources. To get richer agent recommendations, configure additional features.

## Add Features to Agentforce Pipeline Management

Certain agent capabilities, such as providing post-meeting suggestions and drafting follow-up emails and meeting requests, require you to turn on more features or configure settings. To get the most out of Agentforce Pipeline Management, complete these steps.

1. Customize the provided Pipeline Management flows.

For example, to integrate custom data sources, modify the Get Opportunity Grounding Data flow.

    See [Automate Tasks with Flows](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.flow.htm&language=en_US).
2. Customize the provided Pipeline Management prompt templates.

For example, to get field update suggestions for more opportunity fields, modify the Recommend Next Step for Opportunity prompt template.

See [Best Practices for Building Prompt Templates](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.prompt_builder_best_practices.htm&language=en_US).
3. Set up Einstein Conversation Insights.

Einstein Conversation Insights enables the agent to use voice and video calls as data sources for suggestions. Access to this data improves the relevance and quality of the agent's responses. Einstein Conversation Insights is required for post-meeting suggestions.

See [Set Up Einstein Conversation Insights](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.call_coaching_setup.htm&language=en_US).
4. Set up Einstein Activity Capture.

Einstein Activity Capture enables the agent to use captured emails as a data source for suggestions. Access to this data improves the relevance and quality of the agent's responses.

See [Set Up Einstein Activity Capture](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.aac_setup_parent.htm&language=en_US).
5. Set up Inbox.

Inbox enables the agent to draft follow-up emails and meeting requests for sales reps to review and send.

    See [Set Up Inbox](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.inbox_setup.htm&language=en_US).
6. Define opportunity stages.

The agent uses your opportunity stage descriptions to suggest updates to the Stage field. If you use standard opportunity stages, review the descriptions to confirm that they align with your team's sales processes and definitions. If you use custom opportunity stages, add detailed descriptions to help the agent suggest the correct stage for an opportunity.

    See [Customize Opportunity Stages](https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/projects/customize-a-sales-path-for-your-team/customize-opportunity-stages).
7. To allow the agent to make updates to opportunity fields on a user's behalf, turn on autonomous opportunity field updates.

To get only opportunity field update suggestions for the user to review, turn off this setting.
8. Configure the Slack connection.

To see Pipeline Management suggestions in Slack, complete the agent's setup in Slack.

See [Set up and manage Agentforce in Slack](https://slack.com/help/articles/36218109305875-Set-up-and-manage-Agentforce-in-Slack).
9. Set up Sales Methodology.

Sales Methodology enables the agent to provide suggestions for updating methodology criteria and confidence levels based on recent activity. The agent analyzes notes, calls, and emails to recommend updates to sales methodology fields.

    See [Set Up Sales Methodology](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.pipeline_inspection_set_up_methodology.htm&language=en_US).
