# Authenticate Users to an Enablement Site on Mobile Devices (Salesforce Identity for Enablement)

If your enablement site uses Salesforce Identity for Enablement authentication, users can access content in the Trailhead GO mobile app only by following a correctly formatted login URL. Create a link in the required format, test the link to verify that it works correctly, and share it with your users.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Enterprise</strong>, <strong>Performance</strong>, and <strong>Unlimited</strong> Editions</td></tr></tbody></table>

          </tr>
        </tbody>

## URL Format

Use this format for the login link:

```
domain/mytrailhead-id/login/subdomainName?loginUrl=siteLoginURL
```

domain

The Trailhead domain, including the https:// protocol, as in https://trailhead.salesforce.com.

subdomainName

Your enablement site's subdomain name. For example, the Pure Aloe subdomain name is purealoe.

siteLoginURL

The case-sensitive login URL that you specified for your enablement site when you [set up Salesforce Identity for Enablement authentication](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.mth_configure_mytrailhead_identity.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "To set up Salesforce Identity for Enablement for your enablement site, first create a connected app in Salesforce. The connected app handles data sharing between your enablement site and Salesforce using OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0—protocols that authenticate users and authorize access to data in your org. Finally, enter your connected app details on your enablement site."). Include the https:// protocol, such as https://purealoe.my.salesforce.com. A trailing slash character (/) is ignored. If your enablement site [enables members of an Experience Cloud site](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.mth_mytrailhead_and_communities.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Enable learners from outside your company as users for your enablement site by linking an Experience Cloud site. For example, guide partners to content that teaches them how to manage leads and opportunities. Or, guide customers to content that teaches them how to use your products."), this value is your site login URL, such as https://purealoe.com/community.

The complete login URLs for these examples are:

```
https://trailhead.salesforce.com/mytrailhead-id/login/purealoe?loginUrl=https://purealoe.my.salesforce.com
```

```
https://trailhead.salesforce.com/mytrailhead-id/login/purealoe?loginUrl=https://purealoe.com/community
```

Note On iOS devices, a login URL that references a force.com domain doesn’t authenticate correctly.

## Test the Link

To test the link on desktop before you share it with users who log in to the Trailhead GO app on a mobile device, paste the link into your browser. If you see either of these outcomes—depending on whether you’re already logged in to your Salesforce org—the link is working correctly.

| Salesforce Authentication Status | Correct Link Test Behavior |
| --- | --- |
| You’re already authenticated into Salesforce. | You’re redirected to your enablement site. |
| You’re not currently authenticated into Salesforce. | You’re prompted to log in at yourenablement site’s login URL. |

The link can return a 400 error response code in these scenarios:

- The specified subdomain name doesn’t correspond to an active enablement site that uses Salesforce Identity for Enablement authentication.
- The specified login URL is incorrect for the corresponding subdomain name.

## Share the Link

When you’re satisfied that the link is correct, share it with your enablement site’s users so that they can access your content through the Trailhead GO app.
