1. In your Trailmaker Content workspace, import the backpack that contains the source language and localized files.

    ![Note](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sales-mytrailhead-264-0-0-production-enus/0d6bc03d-58c7-47e8-89c9-5e00c98b5485/images/icon_note.png)

Note After you upload the backpack, Trailmaker Content shows the content only in the source language. You don’t see the translated files. If you preview the content from Trailmaker Content, only the source language is available. But don’t worry. When you add the backpack to a release, the translated content is included.
2. In Trailmaker Content, add the content to an unpublished release by completing the steps in [Add Content to a Release from Trailmaker Content](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.mth_add_content_to_release_from_tm_content.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "After you create your module and quizzes and assign all the necessary metadata, add the content to a release.").

This action adds the manifest item and backpack—which contains the source language and localized files—to the release.

    ![Note](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sales-mytrailhead-264-0-0-production-enus/0d6bc03d-58c7-47e8-89c9-5e00c98b5485/images/icon_note.png)

Note Translated content is published to the same content collection as the source language content.
3. Preview the release by completing the steps in [Preview a Release in Trailmaker Release](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.mth_preview_content_on_mytrailhead.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Your content stakeholders can preview all the new or changed trails and modules that you plan to publish in a release. The full release preview shows new or changed content in the context of all published content in your company’s enablement site. Only users with the appropriate permission can access the full release preview.").
4. In the release preview, find the content that was translated, and select the appropriate language from the footer of the page.
5. Optionally, share the preview URL with subject matter experts (SMEs) from the regions that the content was localized for. For example, to validate that correct translations appear when selecting Japanese or Portuguese (Brazil), find SMEs from those regions to perform quality assurance testing.
6. After you confirm that the localized content is correct, publish the release by completing the steps in [Publish Content with Trailmaker Release](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.mth_publish_content_with_tm_release.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "After you test, proofread, and validate your content, you can publish the release's new or changed content to your enablement site.").

Now, a user can view the translated content by selecting the appropriate language from the Language picklist in the footer of any enablement site page.

Most likely, the number of units in a module differs between the source and localized files. When content isn’t available for a selected language, an enablement site falls back to the source language. To resolve this issue, work with your localization team or vendor to correct the number of units in a module in the localized files.")
