1. Find the backpack for the trail that you want to import. You can:

    - Access the backpack in your company’s version control system (VCS).
    - Download the latest released version of the backpack from Trailmaker Release. To learn more, see [Download a Backpack from Trailmaker Release](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.mth_tm_release_download.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "From Trailmaker Release, you can download the backpack ZIP file for a module or trail published in your company’s enablement site. With this backpack, your content creators can easily access the latest released version of content the next time they want to update it.").
2. Import the trail backpack into your Trailmaker Content workspace by completing the steps in [Import a Backpack into Trailmaker Content](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.mth_upload_published_or_archived_content_to_tm_content.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "You can add learning content into your workspace from a backpack ZIP file that you saved or downloaded. This workflow is helpful when you want to collaborate on content that other content creators started in their own workspace. Or, follow these steps when you want to update published content or restore archived content. You can also import a content template that you downloaded.").
3. In the Trailmaker Content workspace, click the trail title (1). Or, select **Edit** from the actions menu for the trail (2).

![Trailmaker Content workspace, highlighting a trail title and Actions menu](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sales-mytrailhead-264-0-0-production-enus/0d6bc03d-58c7-47e8-89c9-5e00c98b5485/mytrailhead/images/tm_content_select_trail.png)
4. On the trail page, click the delete icon ![Delete button](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sales-mytrailhead-264-0-0-production-enus/0d6bc03d-58c7-47e8-89c9-5e00c98b5485/mytrailhead/images/delete_button.png) for the module.

This action removes the module from the trail, but it doesn’t remove the module from your enablement site. The module stays on your enablement site as a standalone module. To remove the module from the trail and from your enablement site, [archive the module](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.mth_archive_content_with_tm_release.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "You can remove published content from your enablement site by archiving it, which hides the content from learners but doesn’t delete it. You can later restore archived content.").
5. Add the updated trail to an unpublished release by completing the steps in [Add Content to a Release from Trailmaker Content](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.mth_add_content_to_release_from_tm_content.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "After you create your module and quizzes and assign all the necessary metadata, add the content to a release.").
6. Preview and publish the release.
7. Download the latest released version of the trail backpack, and store it in your VCS.
