# Delete Content from a Release with Trailmaker Release

You can delete content from an unpublished release.

Important If you’re removing a new unpublished trail and its unpublished modules from a release, remove them in this order.

- First remove the trail from the release.
- Then remove the modules.

1. In Trailmaker Release, select a content collection from the dropdown menu.
2. On the content collection page menu, select **Unpublished Releases**.
3. Click the name of the release.
4. From the Actions dropdown for the item that you want to delete, select **Delete**.
