# Set Up Forecast Guidance Agent Action

Use generative AI to give sales managers clear insight into how their sales reps are performing. When users ask an agent how a specific sales rep is doing, the Get Forecast Guidance action calculates how that rep is tracking to meet their quota and identifies any risky deals.

### Required Editions

Note Users must have Salesforce Forecasting set up to use the Get Forecast Guidance action. See [Set Up Salesforce Forecasting](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.forecasts3_implement_intro.htm&type=5&language=en_US).

If you were previously using the Forecast Guidance User permission, remove it from any custom permission sets.

1. [Set Up Agents](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.copilot_setup.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
2. Add the Forecast Sales Revenue topic, which includes the Get Forecast Guidance action, to your agent. See [Add a Topic to Your Agent](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.copilot_topics_add.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
3. From Setup, enter Permission Sets in the Quick Find box, and then select **Permission Sets**.
4. Click **Assign Permission Sets**.
5. Select the **Run Flows** user permission set.
6. Click **Manage Assignments** and then **Add Assignments**. Assign the permission set to users and click **Assign**.
