Before you start, make sure that you’re working in Lightning Experience and that [Salesforce Forecasting is turned on](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.forecasts3_defining_forecasts_settings.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Starting in Winter ‘24, forecasting is automatically enabled with default pipeline forecasting settings configured for you. In orgs created before Winter ‘24, you can manually enable forecasting and take advantage of the same default settings for your opportunity-based forecasts. To update the configuration to meet your business processes, visit the Forecasts Settings page in Salesforce Setup."). Then review the information about [using multiple currencies](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.forecasts3_multiple_currencies.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "If your company uses forecasts and multiple currencies, your Salesforce admin chooses a forecast currency and enables forecast types. The forecast currency is your corporate currency or each forecast owner’s personal currency.").

1. Review the information in [Multiple Currencies in Forecasts](https://help.salesforce.com/apex/HTViewHelpDoc?id=forecasts3_multiple_currencies.htm&language=en_US).
2. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Forecasts Settings, and then select **Forecasts Settings**.
3. In the Select a Default Currency section, next to Forecast Currency, choose an option.
4. Save your changes.

An adjustment doesn’t change the underlying gross rollup and doesn’t appear in reports. It just adds a layer of detail to a forecast.")
