Note We’re reorganizing the Einstein Activity Capture documentation. We’re moving some information around, but we aren’t deleting anything.

Complete these prerequisites before you set up Activity 360 reporting.

- Turn on Einstein Activity Capture and set up email capture.
- Make sure you have at least one user assigned to an active configuration to use Activity 360 features. See [Create a Configuration for Einstein Activity Capture](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.aac_setup_create_configuration.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Configurations determine which data gets captured and how it flows between Salesforce and your connected account. You create one configuration during the initial setup and you can add more to customize data capture and sync behavior for specific users or profiles. By default, Einstein Activity Capture syncs events and contacts bi-directionally, though you can edit these settings at any time.").
- To report on events, make sure you have at least one configuration for events that syncs in **Both Directions** or **Microsoft Exchange to Salesforce**.

Important Starting in Summer ’25, Activity 360 Reporting, Activity Metrics, and Activities Analytics Dashboard aren’t available unless previously set up. Additionally, data from these reporting tools that appear in other features, including Pipeline Inspection and Einstein Conversation Insights isn’t available unless configured before Summer ’25. If you’re already using Activity 360 Reporting, Activity Metrics, Activities Analytics Dashboard, or related data, you can continue to do so until these tools are retired. To explore email data added by Einstein Activity Capture after Summer ’25, make sure you [sync email as salesforce activity](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.eac_email_activity.htm&language=en_US) and use Salesforce Activity reports. See [Considerations for Sync Email as Activity](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.eac_email_activity_considerations.htm&type=5&language=en_US) and [Einstein Activity Capture Activity 360 Reporting, Activity Metrics, Activities Dashboard Upcoming Retirement](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=004633781&type=1&language=en_US).

1. From Setup, enter einstein activity capture in the Quick Find box, and then select **Einstein Activity Capture**.
2. Go to the Settings tab.
3. Turn on **Activity 360 Reporting**.

After you turn on Activity 360 reporting, find out-of-the-box reports in the Reports tab and a prebuilt dashboard in the Dashboards tab.

To turn off Activity 360 reporting, contact Salesforce Customer Support.
