        </tbody>
      </table>

Before you set up a Data Cloud data source, complete these steps.

- Set up and configure Data Cloud in your org.
- Create your DMOs or DLOs in Data Cloud. Sales Planning doesn't create DMOs. Build them in Data Cloud first, for example with Batch Data Transform, which is the Data Cloud equivalent of a CRM Analytics recipe.
- Assign the Data Cloud User permission set to everyone who works with sales plans that are built on Data Cloud objects.
- Grant the OAuth user on Salesforce Maps servers access to your Data Cloud DLOs and DMOs. Territory Planning uses this OAuth user for alignment optimizations.
- Rename any field whose API name contains special characters. For example, change `Owner.Name` to `OwnerName`. Fields with special characters in their API names aren't available in Sales Planning.

1. Click the **Sales Planning Settings** tab.
2. Select **Data Sources** in the left menu.
3. Click **Add**.
4. For the data source type, select **Data Cloud**.
5. In Dataset, search for and select the Data Cloud DMO or DLO that you want to connect to.
6. Add a name for your data source, and then select the columns that you want to include.
7. Save your changes.
