To see how you can create a walkthrough in Lightning Experience, watch the video. 1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter In-App Guidance, and then select **In-App Guidance**.
2. Click **Add**.

In-App Guidance Builder opens in a new browser tab.
3. From the Environment dropdown, select where you want to create the prompt.
    - For Lightning Experience, select **Your Org (Lightning Experience)**.
    - For an Experience Cloud site, select **Site Name (Experience Cloud Site)**.
4. In the environment you selected, go to the app or page where you want to add the walkthrough, and then click **Add**. ==

The New In-App Guidance panel opens in the In-App Guidance Builder.
5. In the New In-App Guidance panel, select **Walkthrough**.

    ![Warning](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sales-iag-264-0-0-production-enus/a45c480e-33d8-4e53-927a-228fcd4ff716/images/icon_warning.png)

Warning Walkthroughs don’t appear correctly on record pages that use split view. Close split view before you add the first step in the walkthrough. For users taking the walkthrough, the first step can instruct them to close the split view before they continue.
6. For the first step in the walkthrough, select the prompt type, location, and position. For a prompt in Lightning Experience, select a custom theme color. Click **Next**.
7. Enter a prompt title and body text. For a floating or targeted prompt, enter a label for the Dismiss button. Add optional images. For a docked prompt, enter text for the extra header and optionally embed a video.
8. To add a step in the walkthrough, click **Add Step** in the In-App Guidance Builder header.

When you add a step that switches between Setup and other apps in Lightning Experience, you’re prompted to save if the step goes to an app with a different domain. The page refreshes and you can resume creating the walkthrough in the new domain.
9. To reorder or delete steps, use the Walkthrough Steps panel in the In-App Guidance Builder.
10. Save your changes.
11. In the In-App Guidance Settings window, specify other options for the walkthrough. Add an optional action link for the last step, schedule when the walkthrough is visible, restrict access to specific profiles or permissions, and copy the walkthrough’s URL. On the Details step, enter a name and API name, and save your changes.
12. In In-App Guidance Builder, click **Done**.
