# Build a Managed Package Recommendation

A managed package lets independent service vendors (ISVs) and partners easily port custom recommendations across multiple orgs. It also enables faster deployment to customers.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Building a managed package is only available in <strong>Developer</strong> Edition. Einstein Recommendation Builder is available in <strong>Enterprise</strong>, <strong>Performance</strong>, <strong>Unlimited</strong>, and <strong>Developer</strong> Editions.</td></tr></tbody></table>

You build recommendations using Einstein Recommendation Builder in a Developer Edition org. You then use Package Manager in the same org to create a managed package and add the recommendations to it. To use a managed package recommendation, you install the package in any org where Einstein Recommendation Builder is enabled. Build it, review its scorecard, and then deploy it when you’re ready.
