# Clone, Edit, or Delete a Prediction

Einstein Prediction Builder lets you clone an existing prediction to create one with different settings. If you want to change only a few settings, editing is the simpler choice. When you no longer need a prediction, delete it.

## Clone a Prediction

In comparison to editing, you can make more changes when you clone an existing prediction. For example, you can change the prediction name, object or field to predict, and score field. Because you can't edit predictions that are in enabled or pending status, cloning is the way to go. After you clone, disable the original one if you no longer need it. The disadvantage of cloning is that it creates a new score field to store your prediction scores rather than keeping scores in the same field.

## Edit a Prediction

If you want to change only a few settings, edit your prediction. For example, you can change the segmentation, example set, or included fields of a prediction that’s not enabled or pending. The advantage is that you can use the same score field for saving prediction scores.

## Delete a Prediction

Delete predictions that you don’t plan to use again. For example, when a use case is no longer relevant or an existing prediction is no longer useful for your business. If you're using the Freemium version to explore Einstein Prediction Builder, delete predictions that don’t deliver a good quality prediction model.
