# Salesforce CPQ Reduction Orders Limitations

When you work with reduction orders in Salesforce CPQ, some limitations apply. We recommend using Salesforce CPQ amendments instead.

Salesforce Billing doesn’t support reduction orders. Specifically, reduction orders in Salesforce CPQ can’t be used to do the following.

- Include percent of total lines when you reduce a covered asset
- Include bundle components when you reduce the parent bundle
- Create price schedules
- Consider the price calculation status when you activate an order
- Create a contract, subscription, or asset
