# Define Competitors

Create a picklist of competitors that your users can attach to opportunities.

### Required Editions

1. From Setup, enter Competitors in the Quick Find box, then select **Competitors**.
2. Click **New** to add competitor names to the list.
3. Enter the name of the competitor.
4. Optionally, check the default option to select this value on any new record when another value is not selected.
5. Click **Save**.
