1. From Setup, enter Einstein Conversation Insights in the Quick Find box, then select **General Settings**.

To use the new Salesforce Go experience, select Salesforce Go from the Setup dropdown and navigate to the Einstein Conversation Insights feature.
2. Turn on Conversation Insights.

The Conversation Insights Readiness indicator displays when the related dashboards are available. This process can take some time, so continue with the next steps until they’re available. Do not turn the toggle off and on again during this time.

    **Troubleshooting Dashboard Creation Issues**

You can resolve some dashboard creation problems from the Analytics Setup page. For more persistent issues, reach out to Salesforce Customer Support.

From Setup, enter Analytics in the Quick Find box, then select **Auto-Installed Apps** under the Apps section.

If the Conversation Intelligence app isn’t successfully installed, click the Requests tab. Select the drop-down menu for the Conversation Intelligence request and click View Log.

The log describes what caused the Analytics app installation to fail. Resolve the issue then retry the installation from the drop-down menu.

Enabling ECI creates a dataflow available in Analytics Studio. The dataflow for the dashboards is set to run every eight hours by default. To modify the dataflow settings, go to **Analytics Studio** from the App Launcher. Click **Data Manager** from the menu on the left, and then **Manage Dataflows** at the bottom of the menu. Select the **Dataflows** tab. You can update the schedule by selecting **Schedule** in the dropdown for the Conversation Intelligence Call Insights Dataflow.

Note We highly recommend that any scheduling updates be done by a Salesforce admin or a user with the Conversation Insights for Sales permission set. The ECI Analytics dataflow requires sufficient levels of access to the organization's data, and these dataflows run in the context of the user who last scheduled the dataflow. If the schedule is updated by a user with limited access, data such as mentions may be missing from the dashboard.

Turning off Einstein Conversation Insights deletes the Conversation Insights dashboard and related datasets from Analytics. If you decide to turn on Conversation Insights later, it takes time to create the dashboard again.
