Ensure that users have the required permission for taking the type of program you’re assigning. Otherwise, the assignment fails.

1. Create a flow.
    1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select **Flows**.
    2. Click **New Flow**.
    3. Select the flow type you want to use. We recommend Record-Triggered Flow.
    4. Click **Create**.
2. To query for a Program ID, add a Get Records element.
    1. In Flow Builder, click ![Add element](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sales-enablement-264-0-0-production-enus/4a7278f8-cbf0-413e-95e6-6a1aa646877b/resources-global/_corporate/images/flow_plus_icon.png) to add an element.
    2. In the Add Element panel, search for Get Records and select it.
    3. In the new element panel, enter a label, API name, and description.
    4. For the Object field, search for Enablement Program and select it.
    5. Complete the remaining fields.
    6. Save your changes.
3. To assign the program, add an Action element to the flow.
    1. After the Get Records element, click ![Add element](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sales-enablement-264-0-0-production-enus/4a7278f8-cbf0-413e-95e6-6a1aa646877b/resources-global/_corporate/images/flow_plus_icon.png) to add another element.
    2. Click **Action**.
    3. Search for Assign Enablement Program and select it.
    4. For Assignee ID, select **$User** and then **Id**. The expected final value is {!User.Id}.
    5. For Notification User ID, enter a formula for the user who you want to notify when the assignment is complete, such as an Enablement admin or a manager.
    6. For Program ID, select **Enablement Program** from the Get Records action you created, and then click **ID**. The expected final value is {!GetRecordsElementAPIName.Id}, where GetRecordsElementAPIName is the API name you entered for the Get Records element.
    7. For Start Date, select **$Flow** and then **CurrentDate**. The expected final value is {!$Flow.CurrentDate}.

If you enter a hard-coded date, the date ends up in the past, causing the assignment to fail. Use a formula to set a date in the future.
    8. Click **Done**.
4. Save and activate the flow.
    1. Click **Save**.
    2. Enter a flow name, API name, and an optional description.
    3. Click **Done**.
    4. In Flow Builder, click **Activate**.

The assignEnablementProgram invocable action counts against your org’s [Bulk API 2.0 limits](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.242.0.salesforce_app_limits_cheatsheet.meta/salesforce_app_limits_cheatsheet/salesforce_app_limits_platform_bulkapi.htm). To help avoid these limits, we recommend that you bulkify your request.
