# Respond to Event Invitations

You accept or decline an event invitation differently depending on whether the event organizer invited you from Salesforce Classic or Lightning Experience.

### Required Editions

    It isn’t possible to respond to event invitations from Lightning Experience or the Salesforce mobile app. Instead, you can accept or decline event invitations from Microsoft® Exchange calendars or Google Calendar™, or the emails generated from those applications.

    When a coworker invites you to an event, you receive an email containing a link to the event. Invitations initiated in Salesforce Classic are emailed from Salesforce. Accept or decline invitations from the event record.
