## Turn On Agentforce Account Management

Turn on the features required to use Agentforce Account Management.

Before you begin, set up [Einstein Generative AI](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.generative_ai_enable.htm&type=5&language=en_US) and turn on [Agentforce](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?language=en_US&id=ai.agent_setup_enable.htm&type=5).

1. From the gear icon, select **Salesforce Go**.
2. On the Salesforce Go Home page, search for and select **Agentforce for Sales**.
3. Turn on Agentforce.
4. Turn on Account Management.

When you turn on Account Management, you’re assigned the Sales Management User permission set group. The agent is also created and assigned the Sales Management Agent User permission set group.

## Add Features to Agentforce Account Management

Some Account Management capabilities require you to turn on more features or configure settings. To get the most out of Agentforce Account Management, complete these steps.

1. Review your Sales Account Research configuration.

We turn on Sales Account Research for you, but you can turn it off at any time.

    See [Sales Account Research](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.account_research.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
2. Finish configuring account plans.

Create a permission set that gives users access to more account plan fields, and configure your sharing settings. Then, customize account plan objectives, measures, and calculation definitions.

See [Select Who Can Use Sales Account Plans](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.account_plans_setup_assign_users.htm&type=5&language=en_US) and [Sales Account Plan Objectives, Measures, and Calculation Definitions](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.account_plans_objective_measures.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
3. Customize the Account Management flows.

For example, to integrate other data sources, modify the Get Account Grounding Data flow.

    See [Automate Tasks with Flows](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.flow.htm&language=en_US).
4. ![Important](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-sales-sales_agents-264-0-0-production-enus/3bcb4a4b-868d-4b4f-b735-d76004124785/images/icon_important.png)

Important This feature is available in sandboxes after September 2026.

    Set up automated field updates.

Select the account text fields that you want to keep up to date, and choose whether each field is updated automatically or gets suggestions that sales reps review and accept. Then write output instructions that describe what each update includes, along with its format and length.

To give sales managers and users above them in the role hierarchy visibility into field updates and suggestions, turn on **Show Field Updates to Leaders**.

See [Best Practices for Writing Field Update Instructions](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.sales_agent_sales_mgmt_field_update_instructions.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
5. Set up Einstein Conversation Insights.

Einstein Conversation Insights adds voice and video calls as data sources. Access to this data provides richer responses and improves the relevance and quality of account briefs, meeting preparation, and field updates.

See [Set Up Einstein Conversation Insights](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.call_coaching_setup.htm&language=en_US).
6. Set up Einstein Activity Capture.

Einstein Activity Capture adds captured emails as a data source for research and field updates. Access to this data improves their relevance and quality.

See [Set Up Einstein Activity Capture](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.aac_setup_parent.htm&language=en_US).
7. Configure the Slack connection.

If your Salesforce org is connected to Slack, we create the agent connection for you. Or, you can add a connection to Slack in Agentforce Studio. Then, finish configuring the agent in Slack.

See [Set up and manage Agentforce in Slack](https://slack.com/help/articles/36218109305875-Set-up-and-manage-Agentforce-in-Slack).
8. Review your agent’s settings in Agentforce Studio.
