# Give Users Access to Einstein Activity Capture

Assign each user an Einstein Activity Capture license and a permission set. Then, make sure users are included in a configuration. Missing any of these can cause connection and access issues.

### Required Editions

    Selecting who can use Einstein Activity Capture is as simple as assigning a permission set to users. The exact steps that you take depend on which license and edition users have. For questions about access to editions and license, contact your Salesforce account executive.

    An Einstein Activity Capture permission set includes all the required permissions for access. Assign a permission set to users then, during setup, add users with permission to an Einstein Activity Capture configuration.

    If a user gets an error when trying to connect their email and calendar to Salesforce, remove the Einstein Activity Capture permission for the user, and then assign it again.
