Note We’re reorganizing the Einstein Activity Capture documentation. We’re moving some information around, but we aren’t deleting anything.

Note When Einstein Activity Capture is on, you can’t use the Related Lists activities view.

Before you turn off Einstein Activity Capture, consider these key things.

- Einstein Activity Capture and related features become unavailable but your settings and configurations are preserved.
- Synced email and calendar accounts are disconnected for Einstein Activity Capture users. If users have both Einstein Activity Capture and Inbox, the email and calendar account stays connected for Inbox.
- Contacts and events stop syncing for all users.
- Emails and events that were captured previously are hidden from the activity timeline and Salesforce calendar, but the data is still stored.
- You can turn Einstein Activity Capture back on and reconnect accounts at any time.

Important If you use Activity Metrics, or are in the process of migrating to Sync Email as Salesforce Activity, contact Salesforce Customer Support to disable Einstein Activity Capture.

1. From Setup, enter Einstein Activity Capture in the Quick Find box, and then select **Settings**.
2. Click the **Settings** tab.
3. If Einstein Activity Capture is configured, it's on. To disable it off, turn off the feature in the General section, and confirm your changes.
4. To turn Einstein Activity Capture back on, go to the **Settings** page and turn on the feature.
