Note We’re reorganizing the Einstein Activity Capture documentation. We’re moving some information around, but we aren’t deleting anything.

Important Starting in Summer ’25, Activity 360 Reporting, Activity Metrics, and Activities Analytics Dashboard aren’t available unless previously set up. Additionally, data from these reporting tools that appear in other features, including Pipeline Inspection and Einstein Conversation Insights isn’t available unless configured before Summer ’25. If you’re already using Activity 360 Reporting, Activity Metrics, Activities Analytics Dashboard, or related data, you can continue to do so until these tools are retired. To explore email data added by Einstein Activity Capture after Summer ’25, make sure you [sync email as salesforce activity](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.eac_email_activity.htm&language=en_US) and use Salesforce Activity reports. See [Considerations for Sync Email as Activity](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.eac_email_activity_considerations.htm&type=5&language=en_US) and [Einstein Activity Capture Activity 360 Reporting, Activity Metrics, Activities Dashboard Upcoming Retirement](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=004633781&type=1&language=en_US).

- **[Turn On Activity Metrics](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.aac_activity_metrics_enable.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
After you turn on Activity Metrics, the Activity Metrics fields are available to use on list views, page layouts, reports, triggers, flows, and processes.
- **[Activity Metrics Fields](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.aac_activity_metrics_fields.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Activity Metrics fields show a summary of sales activities that were added to Salesforce manually and by Einstein Activity Capture. Most of the fields are available to Einstein Activity Capture users after Activity Metrics is turned on. A few fields are available only to Sales Engagement users, regardless of whether they use Einstein Activity Capture. Activity Metric fields are derived from your activity data, so create formula fields when using them on page layouts.
- **[Considerations for Using Activity Metrics](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sales.aac_activity_metrics_considerations.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
