# Monitor App Security Controls on the Insights Page

Review the security controls of the external client apps and connected apps in your org on the Insights page. Verify that your apps are compliant, and manage their security controls. Monitor the status of both enabled and disabled apps whether they are local or developed outside your org.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in all editions.

**How:** From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Insights, and then select Insights. In the Security Controls column, find apps that are missing controls. To see which controls an app is missing, select Configure Security Posture from the app's actions menu. For a local app, click Manage App in the Security Posture window to open the app's settings and turn on the missing controls. For a packaged app, contact the app developer, or click Disable to turn off the app until the developer updates it.
