# Find Specific Records Across Your Backup History

Search backup data for records that contain a keyword or a phrase. Narrow your search by object, backup date range, or field condition. Each result identifies a version of the record and shows the backup dates when that version was found, so you can locate relevant data.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

**How:** In Backup & Recover Next, open the **Activities** tabs and click **Search Data**. Enter a search term, and select the objects and backup date range to search. Refine the results by adding field conditions or including associated Share, History, and Feed objects. You can also start from the backup list or backup details page to prepopulate the backup or object selection.
