Build your culture of trust, for your company and customers, by adding another layer of protection for users who log in to the Spiff mobile app. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) reduces the risk of unauthorized access to systems by requiring users to provide two or more verification factors. When multi-factor authentication (MFA) is turned on, after a user enters a password, the app asks for a code from an authenticator app before it opens Spiff. Previously, the mobile app didn't support MFA, so users couldn't complete sign-in when MFA was required.
Where: This change applies to the Salesforce Spiff mobile app.
How: If MFA is already turned on in your company settings, users verify with an authenticator app the next time they sign in to the mobile app. To turn on MFA, from the Admin menu, go to Settings, select Security, and turn on Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). The only supported secondary authentication factor is an authenticator app. MFA isn't available if your company uses single sign-on (SSO) authentication.
