# Give Planning Teams Edit Access to Alignments

Add a user to the planning team for a segment or for an entire sales plan, and grant Territory Planning access. When that user opens a segment they can access, they can edit the alignments for that segment.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions. A Sales Planning add-on license is required.

**When:** This change is available in sandbox orgs in late October 2026 and in production orgs in early November 2026.

**How:** From a sales plan segment or from Territory Planning Home, add a team member to the planning team and grant Territory Planning access.
