# Email, Calendar, and Integrations

If you exempt user-level email address verification based on their email domain, take action to maintain that configuration. Get expanded controls to filter out sensitive emails and specific domains from Einstein Activity Capture. Lighting Sync and Salesforce for Outlook are retiring in 2027.

- **[Email Configuration](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_sales_productivity_email_configuration.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
If you disabled user email verification, configure an authorized email domain to preserve your users’ ability to send email. Identify users’ email domains with a new Setup page, and import authorized email domains into sandboxes. For each authorized email domain, manage email verification requirements and set a branded From address for email sent for users with unverified domains.
- **[Einstein Activity Capture](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_sales_productivity_einstein_activity_capture.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Get expanded controls to filter out sensitive emails and specific domains from capture, configure Einstein Activity Capture for partner users, upgrade Microsoft Office 365 authentication to Microsoft Graph, and prepare for the retirement of Activity 360 Reporting, Activity Metrics, and Activities Analytics Dashboard.
- **[Lightning Sync](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_sales_lightning_sync.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Lighting Sync is retiring in 2027. Migrate to Einstein Activity Capture to continue syncing events and contacts from a connected account to Salesforce. If you use Lightning Sync with Microsoft® Exchange Web Services, upgrade your connection to Microsoft Graph before October 2026 to avoid service disruption.
- **[Salesforce for Outlook Is Being Retired in January 2027](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_sales_sfo_retiring.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
For the latest integration with Microsoft Outlook, we recommend moving to our next-generation products, the Outlook integration and Einstein Activity Capture. These products replace Salesforce for Outlook features and give users new capabilities. We continue to introduce enhancements for these products every release.
