Price an existing product by describing what you want to an AI agent instead of clicking through price books, selling model options, and price adjustment schedules across separate objects. Working through the Revenue Management Pricing API, the agent surfaces a product's current pricing and adds a second way to sell the product, such as by offering a one-time product as a monthly subscription. The agent also authors a volume discount and handles ongoing price and tier changes. To prove that the discount applies, the agent prices the product at several quantities and reads the pricing waterfall for each.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Revenue Management, formerly Revenue Cloud, with the Revenue Cloud Advanced license.
How: Before you start, complete initial setup for Revenue Management, turn on Pricing, and add a selling model option to the product that you want to price. Then authenticate Salesforce CLI to your org, connect a supported AI agent as an authenticated admin, and describe your pricing changes in plain language. The agent confirms that your setup is complete, proposes each change for your approval before writing, and verifies the result by reading the pricing waterfall.
