# Introducing Retail Execution on the Salesforce Platform

Retail Execution for Consumer Goods moves onto Salesforce Platform and runs on standard Salesforce objects and capabilities instead of the managed package architecture. This move marks an ongoing shift for Consumer Goods Cloud, beginning with Retail Execution Merchandising activities on both desktop and mobile, and order taking on desktop.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, Einstein 1, and Agentforce 1 editions with the Consumer Goods Cloud Sales Max and Consumer Goods Cloud CRM Max licenses with Consumer Goods Cloud (on-platform) enabled.

**Note:** Documentation for Consumer Goods Cloud published for the managed package is identified with (Managed Package). Use this identifier to distinguish managed package content from content published for the native architecture.
