# Add Ad Hoc Tasks During Visits

Inspectors can now create tasks during a visit, even if those tasks weren't pre-assigned. When an inspector identifies unplanned work at a site, such as an additional safety check or follow-up verification, they select an action plan template and add tasks to the visit. This eliminates the need to return to the site later or manually track unplanned activities outside Salesforce.

**Where:** This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions where Agentforce Public Sector is enabled.

**How:** From the Visit details page, select **Menu** and **Add a Task**. Select an action plan template, choose the tasks to add from that template, and save. The newly added tasks appear in the task list for that visit.
